Love you all

Love you all

Just a quickie from my phone…..

When I started blogging a few years ago I had no idea what I was doing. Never did I expect to meet such wonderful people, nor did I think they would be such a huge support system but you guys are… Between alex and the storm I am blown away….

I am so thankful for your help, support, and of course friendship… I am shocked by your generosity. From presents to offers of shelter… I am speechless…

Thank you everyone who
helped me with lipa yesterday, as well as emailing me other ideas… I really appreciate it…

An update…. It showed here last night…. Just another complication… We stayed at Marc’s bro, with other relative evacuees (most of our family is affected by this storm). We lost power for only a short time. This am, thanks to my development’s awesome team (management co, security, landscaper) and village we were able to be certified to receive electric. Not sure of the process yet, or when to expect, but at least I feel like we are moving in the right direction.

My birthday is Saturday and I never thought I would be wishing for electric for a birthday present

Love you all….

  1. I do hope your birthday wish comes true before Saturday! I’m glad that it’s in the works and you will hopefully be able to get this ball rolling and be warm again!!! Hang in there. As always… xoxo

  2. Glad you guys are safe and on the way back to electricity – too bad about the snow. I was worried about you. Tell you what, for your birthday we will send you Emma kisses….she is adorable and sweet and gives awesome kisses. And maybe some Bourbon kisses as well (just watch out cause his kisses sometimes lead to love bites).

  3. Oh Hilary!! I have everything crossed that you get electricity soon – at least before your birthday!! Oh dear!! Am sending you many hugs and positive vibes and if I could – electricity too!!! Take care, please!

  4. We are purring hard for your power to be on soonest and new damage very limited!!!

  5. I am sooooooo glad that you got your certification. Sometimes all of the bureaucracy involved in getting these things fixed just wears you down.
Have a wonderful birthday and I hope the electricity comes on for you.

  6. I was so glad to hear that you got snow rather than rain. I know without electricity that you will be cold however I hope you suffer little damage beyond what has already happened. I hope you get to celebrate your birthday with Good news and electricity.

  7. I hope the electricity gets back in proper order quickly. Keep us posted as you can, and if you’re not back before the weekend, have as happy a birthday as you can under the circumstances.

  8. So glad you’re coping with this mess, but I sure do hope and pray that things will get better soon. And remember, we’re thinking about you guys.

In case we’re not online over the weekend, have a wonderful birthday! And I bet your wish will come true!

  9. Girlfriend, I had no idea of your challenges until you emailed me yesterday. Frankly I haven’t even posted in over a month and that was a rerun. I was happy to pass on your tweet. Anything else I can do, please, please, please let me know if there is anything else I can do from Arizona.

  10. I am seriously considering lighting a candle in my window: both in honour of your birthday (yay!!), and as my vigil until you actually have power again! ha.
I do hope that you have a special day and many moments of peace and joy — in the midst of the storm!
    Happy Birthday and much love!!
(and if you could make it to me in Canada, I got a spare room, a fire, lots of hot water…..a laptop, a desktop, a reader, an iphone…..LOL and 2 girls who would more than love to make cupcakes for Alex’s “mommy”!)

  11. It’s terrific to hear you’re okay, if not exactly great…hang in there, if anyone can weather the storm, you’ve proven you sure can! Looking forward to hearing your electricity is restored and you’re back in your house. Nothing but best of wishes and most positive thoughts for you and Marc! xo
