Follow Friday Four Fill in Fun – week 169

Okay, you know the deal – Each week, I list four statements with a blank for you to fill in on your own blogs. If you want to join the fun and come up with four fill in’s of your own, please email them to me hilary@feelingbeachie.com .

If I use them, I will add you as co-host to the hop! I REALLY NEED STATEMENTS! This week’s co-host is Elizabeth from Silver’s Reviews. She came up with the last two statements

Feeling Beachie

The statements:

  1. I am trying hard to learn how to ____
  2.  ___ makes me think that ____
  3. When you try too hard, _______
  4. Can you really______?

My Answers:

  1. I am trying hard to learn how to SAY NO
  2.  MASSIVE MULTITASKING makes me think that I CAN DO MORE
  3. When you try too hard,YOU EITHER GET WHERE YOU WANT TO BE OR HIT A WALL. I USUALLY GET MY BEST IDEAS WHEN I STOP THINKING….

  1. There are some moments here and there where I am truly relaxed but I usually have a million things going through my mind, so yeah, relaxing is so very hard!
Also, I’m okay with multi-tasking to a certain point but one too many tasks and it might all crumble!!!
    Have a great weekend! xoxo

    1. Susi – I think I am at the crumble point… I want to just chill but can’t stop. And as soon as I think about stopping 15 more ideas pop into my head…

  2. Oh, saying No is one of my downfalls. I have gotten better over the years. I am the QUEEN of multitasking at work. Not so much at home. So many unfinished projects.

    Happy Friday!

        1. Elizabeth – my mom was a legal secretary her whole life before she retired and typed over 100 words an hour. I used to always watch her in awe. I got lucky, while I don’t type anywhere near as fast as her, I did take after her!

  3. We are so much alike it’s uncanny….I know exactly what you mean by those answers. Sigh…now to relax since it’s the weekend. Hah!
Hope you’re doing well, I’ve missed visiting and chatting with you!

  4. I am good at saying no and I don’t multi-task so yes I can really relax…and that is when I do my best thinking. All that being said…I put the wrong name on the Linky thing. Teddy Here should be Patricia’s Place. The link is right just not the name. Change it if you can or leave it. I am a ditz you know. 🙂

    1. Patricia – you may call yourself a ditz but you are my new hero… I need to take some lessons from you!

  5. The last month, I’ve really truly mastered the art of relaxing. Literally done nothing all day long.
In my defense, I was storing up energy for Today: the first day of summer vacation and all 3 children home all the hours. They’ve basically crashed completely — I think their wee brains needed some of that “stop thinking” you mentioned.
I am betting tomorrow will be a brand new ball game with no 7th inning stretch. 🙂

    1. Rorybore – I raise my coffee cup to you! I hope you stored up enough relaxation to power you through.. you sure will need it!

  6. We hadn’t seen this weekly event before. Interesting. And neat answers.

Sorry we’re late but we want to thank you for coming by to leave Jan a comment on her birthday. She had a great day and ate lots of pizza. but didn’t bring us a crumb. 🙂

    Funny Farmers & Jan

    1. Jans funny farmers – Glad Jan had fun – sorry she didn’t share. My parents are stingy that way too! XOXO Lucy

  7. Yes I believe you can truly relax but not at home, you have to go somewhere! It is not easy to say no but I ended up learning it years ago when I was on PTA. I was the “yes” girl until they abused it and called me for everything. Once you learn to say no it gets easier.

    1. Debby – I have and continue to be the yes girl… my biggest problem is even though I complain I do want to do it all…
