Follow Friday Four Fill in Fun Blog Hop – week 90

Welcome to the 90th weekly Follow Friday Four Fill-in Fun Blog Hop!

Each week, I plan on listing four statements with a blank for you to fill in on your own blogs. If you want to join the fun and come up with four fill in’s of your own, please email them to me at Hilary(at)feelingbeachie(dot)com. If I use them, I will add you as co-host to the hop! This week’s co-host is Ali from the daughter-in-law diaries – she came up with the last two statements!

I would LOVE it if you could please help me spread the word about this hop…. So, please tweet, FaceBook share, and add the linky to your post…

This week’s statements:
1. I usually ___ but never ____
2. I was named ___because ___
3. I would never change _______about my body, but I would change _________
4. The last time I said “I Love You” was to _________

My Answers:
1. I usually am late but never intentionally – I just have a poor conception of time
2. I was named Hilary because I was named after my mother’s father, Harry. I almost was named Frieda after my father’s mom, but my grandfather passed away when my mom was pregnant with me. I owe the selection of my name to my cousin Robin.
3. I would never change most things about my body, but I would change the fact that my body is getting older…. So, I guess as the years pass that means I would change everything!
4. The last time I said “I Love You” was to either to my mom on the phone or Marc when I left to go to work. I always make sure to say I love you all the time (just one of my many quirks)

Please add the Follow Friday button to your post, or your blog.

Please follow me. Since Google Friend connect is gone, please follow through networked blogs, Facebook fan page or by email….If there is a co-host, please follow them as well. Leave a comment! I will follow back!

  1. The degree of my perpetual lateness has increased upon the birth of each child. I figure it’s about 6-7 minutes per child, so times that by 3……and then I’ll be there! LOL
Prior to being a mother I was always On Time.
Yes, that getting older thing. can’t someone stop that? can we get someone on that? 🙂

    1. Leslie – good thing you only have three kids! As for the aging thing – we can do some thing…. 🙂 to ease the pain 🙂

  2. Your last one is a good one—I agree–you can’t say it too much!!!! Thanks for doing this blog hop, Hilary!!! I know it is a lot of work to set it all up but we all love it!!! Have a great weekend!

  3. I think it is great you are happy in your own skin AND you say ” I love you” all the time, I am bad with that one, my daughter is much, much better at it!

  4. Hilary, I always say “I love you” to my mom or Sweetheart or the kids whenever we part ways for a bit… even if I run to the store!!! You never know, right? I’m very rarely late, mostly a few minutes early or right on time. But that’s mostly because Sweetheart is such a stickler about it!!!! 🙂 I’m hoping to link up later today. There are some technical difficulties because of the latest update on WP!!! Argh….

    1. Susi – “you never know, right?” that is exactly why I say I love you all the time too… I think I lost some of my punctuality due to marc – although sometimes he is a stickler too

  5. I always say “I love you” to all of the special people in my life. It’s a nice way to send everyone off to school and work in the morning. It’s my way of always letting my family know that they are always loved.

    1. Darcie – I feel that way too – and like susi said, you never know what the day will bring. I never want to risk someone not knowing how I feel…

  6. The saying in our family is…..janice will be late to her own funeral…is that an assumption that I am late often??YES but I am better
especially with appts. and it started getting that way from being a business owner I had to be an example. I feel like I am late today to this hop and I will have to get by everyones this evening to read all the great answers and get my comments in…you know I will peeps just a little late.
    Thanks Hilary for hosting ‘,’

    1. Janice – You are right.. as an owner you had to set an example, but then again, as owner, sometimes your actions could slide a bit as well 🙂

  7. I was looking at some pictures the other day and I came across a picture from about 11 years ago. I could not believe the difference in my face! It was the first time I thought that maybe I need to do something about it. I believed I would never do anything but it is now all droopy and old looking.

    1. Debby – I had a friend at work take a picture of me that I needed for the Katie Couric show. He photoshopped out a pimple and eased the bags out from under my eyes… he was better than a dermatologist & plastic surgeon in one!

  8. Found your website surfing the internet and got intrigued by its name 🙂 Now I added myself to your Friday link and am following via NetworkedBlogs 🙂

(p.s. it seems your commentLuv is not working correctly…)

    1. Claudia – thanks so much for playing along and following.. I will follow back. I just did all the updates this week and I don’t think that the comment luv worked. Will have to look into it…. UGH, hate technology!
