Each week, I plan on listing four statements with a blank for you to fill in on your own blogs. This week’s co-host is Beth Ann from It’s Just Life – She came up with the last two statments!

.

I would LOVE it if you could please help me spread the word about this hop…. So, please tweet, FaceBook share, and add the linky to your post…

This week’s statements:

1. I don’t understand ___ and probably never will

2. I prefer ___ to ____

3. My favorite smell is ______________because ___________________

4. I suspect my neighbors of _________________

My Answers:

1. I don’t understand jealousy and probably never will (until you walk in someone else’s shoes you really never know what they are dealing with. Why be jealous of something on the surface?

2. I prefer vegetables to potatoes

3. My favorite smell is chocolate chip cookies baking because well, after you smell them, you get to eat them, right?

4. I suspect my neighbors of being a little crazy, especially in the summer. Why live on the beach and not actually go to the beach. Am I the only one who finds that weird?

Please add the Follow Friday button to your post, or your blog.

Please follow me. If there is a co-host, please follow them as well. Leave a comment! I will follow back!

  1. If I lived on the beach…..I would LIVE on the beach! that’s very strange to me. Course, people probably think it strange that I live next to ski hills, and don’t ski. I used to – but bad, bad knees now. I don’t want to have one of those moments: I”ve fallen and I can’t get up! LOL

    1. RoryBore – Isn’t it bizare? I live on the beach, so I LIVE on the beach… as long as it isn’t winter or freezing, I am out there as much as possible, before and after work, and most of the day on the weekends.. why live there and not be???? But, bad knees is a good reason to not ski… you probably would if you could.. I have always wanted to learn, but I am too much of a klutz.. I know I will instantly break a bone or five.

  2. If I lived near the beach, I would list the water as my home address. I love to watch the waves, walk in the sand, or just sit and let the beauty wash over me and calm and restore me.

    1. Marti – love it.. the street I live on has ocean in it’s name 🙂 I so agree with you, the ocean is so calming (except for a storm, then it is very angry… and sometimes scary)

  3. 1. I don’t understand people who are judgmental
    2. I prefer sandwiches over salads, unfortunately.
    3. My favorite smells are lavender, vanilla, and sandalwood
    4. And yes, your neighbors should definitely enjoy the beach!

    Kristin

  4. I completely agree with your number one… I always say everyone lives there own live and someone else probably looks at yours and thinks it’s weird. So to each his/her won and leave the judging be. Of course, I agree that living on the beach you would be on the beach… I would love to live close to the water and go walking on the beach every day if I could!!!! 🙂 We live only about 30 minutes away but it might as well be 30 hours…

    1. Susi – you are so right.. no one really knows what someone is going through on the inside, especially when the outside seems so perfect….I so get how 30 minutes can seem like 30 hours 🙂

  5. I think jealousy can be a good thing. It’s different from envy, which is bad. In the Bible, God says He is jealous for us. 🙂 I always thought jealousy had to do more with passion and protection. Just my 2 cents.

Your neighbors don’t go on the beach?!?! Oh my word. I would be out there almost ALL day! I love the ocean and your photos make me SO SO…. envious. 😉 lol

    have a great weekend.

  6. First off the book review from yesterday was well-done and I want to read the book! (They should pay an extra commission!) 🙂

I prefer veggies to taters too! This weeks fill-ins were fun! That second one can be done so many different ways!

    1. Nani – thanks so much… I had fun reading the book and writing the review.. and since i really enjoyed it, I hope that I helped sell a few.. the author deserves it! Veggies rule! I love when the fill ins are so open ended like #2 – it makes reading everyone’s answers so fun…

    1. McGuffy Ann – you go girl! I know you are going through a lot.. I am sorry.. If I can help, let me know.. and thanks… I think you are wonderful too!

  7. Ya I don’t like to be jealous of other people either, Yum! That’s also one of my favorite smells, maybe their afraid of the wter but, just like the beach? : )

  8. Hilary
When I lived in Corpus Christi, TX people there complained about the beach..I am like are you crazy…this is one of the most beautiful places and I felt like a speck of sand.

Sorry I am not linking up but did stop by. Life is holding on tight to me right now….weekend blessings my friend
    Gina

    1. Gina – I am so sorry things are difficult now…. I hope everything gets better soon… Corpus Christi sounds beautiful…. some people are just so hard to undestand…
