  1. cannot picture you as a snob at all. One of my best memories of visiting New York was seeing Lady Liberty. I am not even American – LOL. but she is rather majestic up close – you should go. As per your #4….if I leave the house and come back, eventually……It will be nice to see my hubby and 3 kids? will have to try. LOL

    1. RoryBore – I hide my snobbery well… Ok, maybe I am not really a snob, but I do have my moments… I know I should go… it is funny, when you live so close, you just never do certain touristy things… I think I was almost 25 when I went to the top of the empire state building….

  2. It’s only now when I live outside London that I’m getting to visit all the interesting things in London that I never went to when living there! LOL!

Awwww hugs to gorgeous Alex and big hello to Marc! Take care

    1. Old Kitty – that makes sense to me… When you live in an area, you are so busy doing everything you have to you don’t appreciate what the place has to offer like you do when you are visiting… Alex sends you & charlie big hugs too!

  3. You can not be a snob!!! I just don’t have that image of you at all!!! I also think it is very common to not see the “touristy” things around you—you fit right in with the rest of the world!

  4. There are people in our area who never been to the Smoky’s. I would love to see Lady Liberty, though, even if it was from distant shores, as it would most certainly have to be because you’re not gonna get this girl on a boat. Nope, nope, nope – it’s just not gonna happen. Go see her for me, would you pretty please? Thanks for hosting another week of FFFF, Sweetie!

    1. Cathy – do I get the idea that you may possibly, probably, most likely not like boats? I don’t know where I get that idea, but I must admit I have a little sneaking feeling… 🙂 OK, if I go (and one day I have to…) I will take pictures for you! Thanks for playing along again!

  5. Hi Hilary! I am visting your blog from Follow Friday Over 40. Your beach pictures are making me want to plan a beach vacation right now! =) I’m back to my blog after a hiatus and have planned some fun things to share. I hope you can stop by sometime. http://inkelleyskitchen.blogspot.com
    Have a great day!

    1. Mc Guffy Ann – hate to admit it, but sometimes I am… But it’s ok, since most of the time I am not. After all, we can’t be perfect all the time can we? Wait… What? Alex what are you saying? Ok, I will tell her… Alex says HE is PURRFECT all the time… And I have to admit, I agree with him!
