Feeling BeachiePhotobucket

Each week, I plan on listing four statements with a blank for you to fill in on your own blogs. If you want to join the fun and come up with four fill in’s of your own, please email them to me at feelingbeachie@gmail.com. If I use them, I will add you as co-host to the hop! This week’s co-host is Cathy Kennedy she submitted the last two statements.

I would LOVE it if you could please help me spread the word about this hop…. So, please tweet, FaceBook share, and add the linky to your post…

This week’s statements:

  1. I am afraid of____
  2. My ___ is my favorite room of my house
  3. The last time I _____ I couldn’t ______.
  4. I got my first _____ when I was ____.

My Answers:

  1. I am afraid of snakes.  Fortunately, I have never seen one in real life
  2. My closet is my favorite room of my house.  They say the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach.  Marc knows the way to my heart is through my closet.  Move over Carrie Bradshaw!

3.The last time I went for a swim I couldn’t imagine that it would be the last one of the season, but sadly, it was.

       4. I got my first facial when I was visiting a friend across the country.  She surprised me with it as a present for my 30th birthday (wow, that was a while ago…..)

Please add the Follow Friday button to your post, or your blog.

  1. Wow, like I love your closet! Now, that’s what I call a closet. I would like so love to have one that roomy! I kid you not, but your closet is bigger than our main bathroom. Grant it, my entire house is small – way too small, so it makes sense the bathroom would be, too. When I’m off day dreaming about how I’d like our next house to be, my eyes get this far away look as I describe to my DH how I want our walk-in closet to be. Am I turning green? Thanks for having me as your co-host this week. You’re a peach of a friend!

    1. Cathy – Thanks! My closet is really a dream come true. When Marc moved in, he built the closet into the attic – because the attic served no purpose. Then, years later, after we were married, we enlarged it by removing an office that we never used that was adjacent to it…. Now, it runs the length of our house…. Despite the HUGE size, poor Marc only has a small section 🙂

  2. WOW, now that’s a closet!!!! You and Oprah have something in common! You know you got charge for tours of that one! I’m so with you too on the snake fear! I also fear big dogs baring their teeth!

  3. I’m going to join the club here… your closet – I want… Hm… maybe if I knock down the wall between my existing closet and one spare bedroom I can make my own large closet! Or I can just turn that bedroom into a closet without the construction.. hm..

    1. Jennifer – HEE HEE sorry! You should do it… My motto is you can never have too much closet space, and if you have a spare room that you are not using, why not put it to good use? When I lived at home I always wanted my mom to turn our spare bedroom into a closet, but she didn’t feel the same way…. I am glad Marc didn’t mind getting rid of unused space 🙂

  4. In my old house my closet was the size of a bedroom! Seriously! it makes your closets looks small…. sigh!
    But as you get old….. double sigh…… priorities change….. sigh … sigh … sigh….. you move on . … sigh . .. sigh … sigh … sigh…..
and you lose those things that you love…
AND I never had clothes to fill it!!

    Girl you have clothes!!
And I fear snakes too! and i am the girl in my house that picks up the spiders and sets them free!!

    1. Brenda – your old closet sounds amazing… But, I don’t know if I will ever grow out of my love of clothes and shoes…. it is just me! Poor Marc, he has such a little itsy bitsy space. I am cool with bugs and spiders, but snakes, YUCK!

  5. You have never seen a real snake!? Wow! Do they have them where you are? Here in Upstate NY, we have LOTS and LOTS of snakes. They all populate the Capitol Building in Albany. YUKYUKYUK!!!! Seriously, we have snakes here. I used to catch them between two badminton rackets and throw them around. Fun. Yeah, I have a chime made out of beer cans, too. KIDDING!

Now if you’ll excuse me, I have to go pick up my jaw from the floor after seeing your closet. Wow!

  6. Very nice closet! I am not organized enough though, I would have lots of things stuffed in behind the closed doors… I love facials! I have had only 3 in my life but I remember each one and can’t wait for the next one.
