Okay, you know the deal – Each week, I list four statements with a blank for you to fill in on your own blogs. If you want to join the fun and come up with four fill in’s of your own, please email them to me hilary@feelingbeachie.com .
If I use them, I will add you as co-host to the hop! I REALLY NEED STATEMENTS! This week’s co-host is Elizabeth from Silver’s Book Reviews. She came up with the statements

The statements:
- If I eat too many_____, I_______
- Running a____is______
- Why is it that_________?
- Where do you_____?
My Answers:
- If I eat too many COCKTAIL FRANKS, I COMPULSIVELY EXERCISE THE NEXT DAY
- Running an EXERCISE THAT I WANT TO LOVE BUT INSTEAD IT is SOMETHING I JUST CAN’T GET INTO
- Why is it that THE DAYS PASS SO QUICKLY?

There’s not much exercise I like, but I’ve been able to stick with running pretty well since I started it a few years ago.
I do the vast majority of my reading in bed.
Ranci – I used to read in bed, now I just conk out!
When you find out the answer to #3, please let me know.
Reading, well, on a plane, a train, my deck, the beach – wherever 🙂
Have a great weekend!
Claudia – I sure will!
I can’t say I love to exercise, but I’ve been sticking to a routine.
I love to read in bed.
Have a great weekend!
Yvonnne – I love to exercise – it really clears my mind!
Yes, indeed, the days pass way too quickly, especially Saturday and Sunday!
Brian – don’t you wish there was a pause button?
I like your answers. I had almost forgotten about the questions today. Glad the email came through.
Topazshell – glad the email worked too! Sometimes it doesn’t 🙁
Nice answers.
We have the same answer for #4. 🙂
On my phone and can’t get the linky page to work. Will try when I get home later.
Have a good day.

Elizabeth – don’t you love when you find people answer the same way?
Yes!!! Pretty neat!!
Running a house is hard work! Enjoyed your answers. I read mostly on vacation in Mammoth Lakes which really sad because I enjoy it so much. Here at home I’m always on my computer! Enjoy your weekend……
Debby – there just isn’t enough time in a day…
I have days when the hours seem interminable.
William – wow
When we are small it seems like time is crawling, we can’t wait for Christmas time or Summer Vacation to come. When we are grown up the weeks and months seem to fly by and before we know it another year has passed and the kids are a year older. I think it should work the other way, fast when we are young and eager for the next thing, and slow when we are a bit older and wiser and want to savor the moments and have more time to do the things we enjoy!
Thank you for providing the prompt and the great questions each week, it’s fun!
Josie – I totally agree with you… I remember always waiting for something and wishing that it would come already. My mom always said don’t wish your life away, it will pass too quickly on it’s own. I didn’t believe her but now I wish I listened sooner!
I have discovered that I prefer what I call “natural movement” – as opposed to typical exercise. Meaning, I love to garden, take walks, swim, dance around the kitchen. Every time I start an actual program, like Jillian or something, I tend to get bored and not stick with it. Except Zumba. I can do that All Day Long!
And I do like my punching bag. I used to do kickboxing in my 20s, and it still remains a great way to relieve stress!
I like to read in the tub. which is why I haven’t done much lately because all the books I want to read are loaded in my Kindle app on my laptop. 🙁
Rorybore – I want to learn kickboxing. I think it would do my mind a world of good. I can’t read in the tub. I tried when I was reading a book book and then dropped it in the tub.
Exercise is so difficult, especially as I get older. I just try to stay active, especially with walking. Having Stella helps make that more enjoyable, too.
McGuffy Ann – that is the beautiful thing about pets -they help us stay fit!
The best exercise I get is playing with my grandchildren. It is fun and it tires me out.
Judy – and when it is fun like that it doesn’t even seem like excercise!
Just wait until you are in your 60’s then time really goes by fast.
Patricia – really? UGH! Does it speed up more each decade?
We have the same answer for #4. 🙂
Have a great weekend.

My Follow Friday Four Fill-In
elizabeth – you too!
Hilary,
please let me know where time goes? just yesterday it was Christmas and now Christmas is only little over 5 months away gez. hope you have a great weekend *enjoying the book, about 3/4 way thru it
Gilligan – so glad you are enjoying. I don’t know where time was going. It was yesterday I was living that story and now it is a book!
I have been on vacation since Wednesday and am so sad that tomorrow is Sunday and I have to return to realty.
Time flies far to fast even when we do NOTHING.
Kisma – Time flies sometimes faster when you are doing nothing – I hope you had a great vacay!
Oh my gosh I haven’t had cocktail franks in years! Time passing by too quickly has been something that has been foremost on my mind lately, Hilary. I’m definitely doing everything I can to make sure and seize each day. Especially with my kid 🙂
Mike – I had a TON of cocktail franks on Saturday night… YUM! Time does go so fast and it is hard to make the most of everyday but we have to try. As you seize the day with your kid give him a hug from me…
I am late to the party but still wanted to jump in. I acquired a love of running several years ago and I am NOT runner material, but I make it from point A to point B.
I would love to know the answer to #3 as well – it seems even faster this summer!
I like to read anywhere!
Carrie – If I find an answer to #3 I will share. This summer is flying at record speed. I want a pause button!
