Cop An Attitude

Cop An Attitude

Inspiration comes everywhere…

A few years ago, when I was still working at my corporate gig, we launched a new system to run the business. It didn’t go well. Actually, it was a disaster! I started work on a Saturday at nine am and ended up leaving my office after two o’clock on Sunday morning.

The streets I traveled were dark and empty. I drove a bright, blue sports car at the time. Less than a mile before my house, I was pulled over for speeding. I was traveling a whopping eight miles over the speed limit. I quickly realized the officer was more concerned about the condition I was in rather than the speed I was traveling. He was kind and nice, and before I knew it, I was on my way home without getting a ticket.

I always loved to tell the story… And I always thought about what if scenarios… And then I realized it would make a great premise for an enemy-to-lover romantic comedy…. So I wrote it…

Cop An Attitude also features Sydney Clayton from my Forest River PTA Moms series. It will be published on February 17, and is currently available for preorder at all retailers.

Their reunion left a lot to be desired. Are they a disaster in the making or totally meant to be?

I kicked love to the curb for the greater good. After all, my soaring career would’ve made my family so proud, and men have a tendency to stop success cold. But I never expected a single and sexy police officer to pull me over, flirt with me, and then write me a ticket.

Now I see the infuriating cop everywhere I go. It doesn’t help that we have a past, and he’s an amazing dad to his daughter. And every time I want to get back to my small-town routine, I can only think about what my life would be like with the no-nonsense policeman…

I should really just forget the whole thing. But if I do, will I lose my last chance at love?

Cop An Attitude is the charming first book in the I Can’t Stop Loving You romantic comedy series. If you like engaging characters, enemies to lovers, and laughing out loud, then you’ll adore Hilary Grossman’s humorous walk on the wild side.
