I can’t believe another week has passed.  More accurately, I can’t believe ten days have passed since we brought my cat, Alex, home from the hospital following his tail amputation. These days have flown by and have gone in slow motion all at the same time.   Alex has been beyond the model patient. He has been locked into a spare bedroom and bathroom since last Wednesday. My husband, Marc, and I didn’t know what to expect on Wednesday, the day after our cat, Alex, had his tail amputated. We were told to call the hospital at 10:30 after the surgeons had time to examine all the patients. We weren’t sure if Alex would be discharged that day, or would need to stay longer. Yesterday was a rough day…..It was so hard sitting in the house gearing up for Alex, the cat’s vet appointment. He didn’t understand why we couldn’t feed him, and Marc and I were on pins and needles.
